In the News

Lots of new canvases, interesting counted thread charts, linens in 40 count and by Painters thread, technique books and more.  But the biggest news is that Nimble Needle is on the move to a new location effective NOW !

New address is 45 Centre Street in Merchantville NJ, less than a square mile its a tiny historic town located in Camden County.  Its about 4 miles north of Haddonfield where the shop has been since 2011.  Prior to this the shop was located in Moorestown, about 5 miles east of Merchantville.  Much more about the new shop to come, but until further notice the shop is closed except for pick up.  The business has grown by leaps and bounds thanks to so many many fantastic customers from across the United States and beyond.  In order to keep serving my phone, mail and internet sales things will continue to ship while the brick and mortar shop is in transition.

The new location is on the ground floor retail space of a building my husband and I purchased back in 2006. My husband and I both had businesses here since 1998 prior to purchasing the building.  We needed a reliable tenant for the ground floor and it just made sense to move my business here.  Its going to take some time to get back up and running as I want to take the time to organize the shop to better support all that goes on during a typical week between walk in and online transactions, deliveries and shipping.  When I have some pretty pictures to share of the inside I’ll be so excited and for context tell a little bit about my personal and family ties to the community.

Yeah there’s a move happening but that doesn’t stop the need to share what’s new.

before that, in honor of Presidents Day (or as some say “not my Presidents Day”)  I wanted to share some words of wisdom by Abe Lincoln, by Carriage House for Ewe and Eye.  Available as a canvas or a kit.

Tomorrow begins the packing and moving oh my!

Special attention will be given to current customers orders, canvases being kitted at the moment and finished items belonging to customers.  All will be kept separate and safe from the relocation of inventory.  I am grateful for all the business and support making this new location reality.  I’ll do my very best to stay calm and collected and my apologies for the inconvenience it may cause.  See you all in Merchantville.

After a long hiatus I’m back to stitching. When I read of your move from Haddonfield I was surprised and I do wish you will have continued success. I will call when your move is complete. George

Hi George, so good to hear from you. I think still have some gold threads I owe you for the Victoria Sampler Frankincense /or Myrrh. Merchantville is a few miles north of Haddonfield so its a tad closer for you. Hope you and your family are well!
