I received my items back from Woodlawn the other day and quite to my surprise I received some ribbons! Jean Krynicki from River Silks was kind enough to drop me a note mentioning she had seen my piece with ribbon receive an honorable mention and it did get me wondering… So the moral of the story is don’t be shy and think what you do may not be up to snuff to enter in 2012. Just do it and see what happens. Compared to what I see in finished needlepoint that comes into my shop and out there in cyberspace much is superior compared to my entries. I wish I had been able to go but its a heck of a day trip from Haddonfield and with the move it wasn’t possible, but there is always next year! Congratulations to all who sent something to show for the 48th Annual Needlework Exhibition.
