Its always interesting to me how much others enjoy seeing others completed pieces. Is everyone like this? Stitching can be a concrete example of personal time spent and seeing what someone else has stitched can be interesting to some and less so to others. I find seeing other peoples choice of threads or techniques interesting, less so than what it is or if I “liked it”. Would love to hear why others like seeing finished pieces. I’m sure for some it can give you an idea of what you might like to do in the future. Or of something you can’t wait to share with a stitching friend who loves penguins too, or of a certain school or flower. Ok, enough words, enjoy…
So really proud of this customer. At the time he’d been stitching for less than 6 months. Interesting to me that while I don’t have dozen’s of male stitchers, every single one of them is a true perfectionist with never a word of frustration! He also stitched the last piece in the post.
Fantastic stitching, can’t beat those candy corn feet either!
Dauchsund by Cooper Oaks, by special request they painted one in reverse so customer could do one for each of her dogs as a “pair”.
Hey, more Cooper Oaks, these are classics. Customer wanted an absolutely minimal finish so they could sit on a very very narrow shelf in front of a stone wall. No slouching ladies!!! Ask my finisher what she could do and these girls came out perfect.
Love this little guy, I happen to have this canvas for sale ready to ship.
Gotta love the colors from Birds of a Feather.
another early classic piece by Silver Needle.
No one ever tires of these adorable mittens. While marketed for Baby’s First Christmas my customer wanted to do them for her and her husband. Same talented lady designed and stitched this facade of a Women’s organization in New Jersey. It has some depth and can also sit freely on a bookshelf as well as being an ornament. Great rendering of glass.
Birch Bird Feeder!
Flamingo number ?? and still counting.
Initially he wondered if he should switch to waterlillies as a single ply of watercolors he felt was too heavy. I think it looks amazing and glad he kept going with it. Summer Logs by Needle Delights, chart and thread kit available to ship! (as well as its companion seasons, though this is by far the most popular.)
thanks for looking!
