Includes 12 spools as shown. Each spool is 35 meters or 38.2 yards, Made in Japan. Softer and smoother than the DMC 6 ply metallic. Diamant is equal in thickness to about two strands of DMC floss. Works well for surface embroidery and counted thread. Diamant works well over 2 threads of fabric when stitching on 34 -36 count ground fabric. DMC Diamant is a metallic thread of viscose wrapped with metallic polyester coating and treated with silicone. It is a smooth thread to stitch with and it passes through fabric easily
