my apologies to anyone who prefers not to ply threads but Splendor was the only thread I could find that had the color clarity needed to stand up to all the other bright colors. But paired with a perfectly matched Crystal braid opens up all kinds of opportunities for various stitches (and reducing the amount to be plied). I can substitute the aqua splendor with silk n ivory, vineyard silk, vineyard merino, Planet Earth or Watercolors but these all will grey out the otherwise bright carribean pop of aqua.
