I did sell your canvas and always thought it was a happy piece that reminded me of an era gone by, clothes lines, jump rope and seeded watermelon. I’m glad you are still painting and having a good response to your multicultural pieces. Something we all need to see more of. and I love watermelon, but only the red. In the northeast they sell yellow occasionally and whether is psychological or not its just not the same!

I’m so glad you were able to sell the canvas. I still haven’t been able to get one of those canvases! Maggie Co sold them all before I could get one. I also love red watermelon. I don’t think it’s psychological at all…the red just tastes better. I actually did a yellow watermelon painting similar to the red, but the red was much more popular. I love your page & I check it daily. I am starting a needlepoint class, so I’ll be dropping by soon to buy a canvas!
