Finished pieces

I think I’ve nearly finished something, which doesn’t happen often enough.  Oh I do enjoy silk ribbon, in this case by River Silks.  I had hoped this would be an easy stitch and offer as a class but I don’t think I’m prepared to do this.  What a difference between working with 4mm silk vs. 7mm, I guess it comes down to practice, not to mention 13 mm!
Then next is just a lovely piece by a customer in DC.  I provided the box and she did the rest.  When she first described the piece I had no idea how beautiful it would be but one should expect no less from Edgar Degas himself.  Something about the colors, shading and texture that are such joy for the eyes.  We spoke, she sent me the measurements and I sent the box. A time when it all worked seamlessly, thank you Linda.
