NO oh no, this is not one of those French needlepoints on Penelope. Its cross stitch from a chart, “Amsterdam” stitched by a prolific octogenarian stitcher. Disappointed in how dark the piece is its actually very in keeping with the darkness of Vermeer paintings and other Dutch Masters
Stitched by GN, the octogenarian. This piece is gorgeous and demands to be studied. Loaded with bugle beads, seed beads, embroidery and blackwork stitching and gold spangles. Chart by Victoria Sampler, he’s doing the 3rd in the series.
Chipmunk by Vicki Sawyer, stitched by MM. I was nervous it would turn out so well all done in basketweave but in the end I think it looks simply great.
Pippin Heart and Horse sweater by Stitch-Its, stitched by CO and JS respectively.
So cute! Unsure of designer, Associated Talents? Nice use of boucle and seed beads to make the trees the focal point.
From the June 25th Patchouli class with Tony Minieri, less than a month later Ta Da! Finished by KG.
