Bluebells by Barbara Russell & River Silks

Progress report for an upcoming silk ribbon class.  Still in the works hoping the background won’t seem to odd, will evaluate this when more is done.  I thought it would be fun to try a tone on tone plaid.  But thus far its looking more like a houndstooth pattern, not exactly as I had in mind. (Note this is not what the stitch guide suggests)  The ribbon work has been fun and challenging. In addition to the stitch guide its been helpful  to look at images of bluebells online confirming my desire to add more colors.  I’ve enjoyed the process and realize it will be an interpretation at best.
