Within days of my first post I received two more pictures, it’s always nice to see projects completed and framed. The moored boat stitched was stitched by Mary who selected the piece when SharonG came to the shop for a canvas embellishment/enhancement class. I recall the colors of the water are Cresent Colors Belle Soie which has some simply amazing saturated colors.

Along the lines with beautiful blues is the charted piece below by Abby. I want to find out what thread the brightest blue is, if only I could recall how we switched up the colors on this. I’ll find out the designer, I really like how its not “squared” off.

Time to share some work by my faithful customers, first 3 by Eileen. Eileen and I have never met as she’s in Ca and I’m in NJ but we’ve become kindred spirits and its a joy to work together.

Below is a Brazilian Work using all Edmar Rayon threads. Ground fabric hand loomed linen twill by Phillipa Turnbull. Designer, I don’t know. Stitched by Marguerite from Australia.
Tried and true basket weave using Vineyard Classic, stitched by Dottie.
International Frog by Edie and Ginger |
Three remarkable tallis bags. First is for a special young lady Lily stitched by her Bubbe. Lily picked the colors herself, very different from the original. Background is all done in Vineyard Shimmer.

Below are two Tallis bags stitched by the fearless Eliane. Both are for her Great Grandchildren, doing the math you’ll figure out that Eliane will never be too old to stitch!
Both by Susan Roberts |
Lastly is this adorable frog waiting to be kissed. I think its a great idea for some of those 5″ rounds that are too big for ornaments. I don’t know the designer of the canvas.

Hi, Karen!
The designer is Gay Ann Rogers, and the piece is “Mystery in a Corner” (her site is here: http://www.gayannrogers.com/miac-1.html).
I forgot when I sent you the picture that I also added that bright blue in the triangles. It’s DMC #5 cotton, color 806. It picks up the bright blue in the watercolors perfectly.
Thanks again for all your help — it’s perfect!
Thank you Abby for letting us all know. I think its a great project. All I need is 8 stitchers and we too can stitch up our own versions! Anyone interested let me know, you don’t have to be a walk-in customer to join.
Karen, You sure have some very talented customers. All the pieces are beautiful.
